The La Galera 90th Anniversary Lector Box Pressed pays tribute to the historic factory reader (the lector) who entertained rollers at Tabacalera Palma throughout its 90-year lineage. Distinct from the round Figurado versions in the 90th Anniversary release, the Lector features a dark, toothy San Andrés Maduro wrapper softly pressed over aged Dominican binder and estate fillers from the Blanco family harvest. The box-press and Maduro leaf combine to offer a dense, rich profile marked by dark cocoa, espresso, leather, and wood. It pairs exceptionally well with a barrel-proof bourbon, an aged dark rum, or a double espresso.

The rich, oily Broadleaf wrapper creates a dense, dark flavor profile that builds in body as the session moves forward.
First Third: The smoke launches with pronounced flavors of rich leather, dry oak, and a distinctive cracked black pepper warmth.
Second Third: The profile takes on a darker character, highlighting notes of roasted espresso beans, earth, and a very light molasses sweetness.
