This classic 7x47 Julieta No. 2 vitola undergoes a specialized box-aging process for five to eight years before release. Packaged in aluminum tubes (Aluminio Tubo), the cigars are rolled and placed in unglazed cedar boxes prior to resting, allowing the leaves to mellow and interact with the wood over time. A second ring reading Añejados denotes its aged status. The extended aging smooths out raw tannins, resulting in a complex, medium-bodied Cuban smoke with a silky wrapper, refined balance, and a remarkably soft draw.
