Historically, the legendary Henry Clay brand—originally founded in Cuba in 1840—was famous for its dark, gritty, and incredibly heavy cigars clad in broadleaf wrappers. For the War Hawk release, the master blenders at Altadis U.S.A. boldly turned their own heritage inside out, creating a blend that delivers an incredible balance of New World zest and old-world elegance.

First Third: The cigar opens with an immediate, complex burst of flavor. A rich, buttery creaminess coats the palate, layered with bright notes of sweet cedar timber, toasted almonds, and a crisp splash of citrus zest. The retrohale is lively, featuring a sharp, clean punch of white pepper.

Second Third: Moving into the main section of the slender barrel, the blend’s unique architecture takes center stage. The initial sweetness deepens as a distinct earthy undertone emerges. Principal characteristics of fresh-brewed espresso beans, warm nutmeg, and aged vintage leather seamlessly blend with the wrapper's natural sugars.
