AJ Fernandez Enclave Broadleaf Robusto - Single Cigar
Visually, the AJ Fernandez Enclave Broadleaf Robusto is intentionally rustic. The wrapper is a very dark, "maduro" brown with a rough, toothy texture and visible oils. It looks as strong as it tastes. The branding retains the iconic "Native American" theme of the Enclave line but uses a darker color palette to signify the Broadleaf blend.
This is a "nightcap" cigar. It is not recommended for the novice or for an empty stomach, as its Vitamin N (nicotine) content and flavor intensity are high. It is the perfect choice for those who love a gritty, traditional Broadleaf experience refined by AJ’s world-class fermentation. It pairs exceptionally well with a Peaty Single Malt, a Bourbon on the rocks, or a strong Black Coffee.

The Enclave Broadleaf is characterized by "grit and sweetness," offering a rustic, earthy experience with surprising chocolatey undertones.
First Third: The cigar begins with a "black pepper bomb," a signature of AJ’s Nicaraguan blends. This is quickly tempered by the Broadleaf’s natural dark chocolate and earthy molasses sweetness.
Second Third: The pepper moves to the background, replaced by notes of charred oak, espresso, and rich soil. The addition of tobacco from Pueblo Nuevo in the filler adds a unique mineral saltiness that balances the heavy sweetness.
Final Third: The strength builds to a full-throttle finish. Expect intense notes of leather, bitter cocoa, and a lingering toasty spice. It is a very "chewy" smoke that stays rich and savory until the very end.
