A.J. is a family-oriented cigar company based in Miami, Florida. All cigars were blended by A.J. for his personal portfolio and each brand is a unique smoking experience, a testament to A.J’s talent as a tobacco grower and blender. All components of each blend are selected based on strength, aroma and flavour in order to achieve a smooth and balanced smoking experience.
A.J. is truly a master of the fine art of balancing a cigar, always finding that perfect sweet spot of richness and flavour.
Strategically located within the rich and fertile grounds of Nicaragua, AJ has made huge investments all throughout the country in order to produce his very own tobacco from all the major growing regions. A.J. owns and operates 2 cigar factories in Nicaragua. Tabacalera AJ Fernandez de Nicaragua, SA is located in the heart of tobacco country in Estelí, Nicaragua and the San Lotano factory is located 70 km north in Totogalpa.
These 2 factories allow A.J to craft over 100,000 cigars per day all by hand. The artisans that put together the blends and form each cigar we get to enjoy do so employing time honoured methods that have been handed down to AJ from generations past.

The spirit of the Enclave lies within the special brotherhood created by those who enjoy a fine premium cigar.
Hand made in Nicaragua, the Enclave Connecticut is an offshoot of the darker Broadleaf wrapped Enclave line that debuted in 2018. This cigar is covered in an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with the rest of the tobacco grown on AJ Fernandez farms in Nicaragua.

The Cold Draw Expect aromas of hay, cedar, and light spices. Some smokers report a distinct hint of milk chocolate or a "sweet tobacco" scent from the foot before lighting.
First Third: The "AJ" Signature Unlike typical mild Connecticuts, the opening is quite lively. You’ll find a prominent white pepper zing in the retrohale, balanced by a core of cedar and roasted nuts (hazelnut). There is an underlying sweetness reminiscent of buttercream or vanilla.
Second Third: Creamy Complexity The smoke texture becomes notably denser and creamier. The pepper takes a back seat, allowing toasty, herbal notes and walnut to emerge. This is the "sweet spot" where the richness of the Nicaraguan filler perfectly complements the smoothness of the Ecuadorian wrapper.
Final Third: Robust Finish The strength builds slightly toward the end. The herbal notes may take on a balsamic or woody character. The spice returns—closer to cinnamon than pepper—providing a warm, savory finish that avoids the bitterness often found in lighter cigars.
